DF000 is a heterarchical and open-source creative, defense and philosophy group. EST. 2021, Los Angeles. We have a primary focus of cultivating adaptive training spaces for women, LGBTQIA+ and marginalized individuals to acquire practical physical protection skills. While the foundation of our defense training is rooted in Jiu Jitsu and other effective martial arts, a broad range of methodologies is taught in our courses: de-escalation, situational awareness, and ontological security, amongst others. Our instructor, Robert Abeyta, Jr., has trained individuals and groups around the world in the areas of defense and safety.
